Troop 11 is sponsored by St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral in La Crosse, Wi. Troop 11 is the oldest Catholic sponsored Troop in the Gateway Area Council. We serve boys from Blessed Sacrament, St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral and Mary Mother of the Church parishes as well as any other boy who wishes to be part of this excellent Troop.
Troop 11 conducts a balanced program designed to appeal to boys of all ages with at least one major activity each month and several varied High Adventure opportunities each summer.
We also take 'Duty to God' and 'A Scout is Reverent' very seriously. All members are encouraged and expected to earn the Religious award of their faith. Troop 11 annually qualifies for the Catholic Pope Paul VI unit award and was recognized by the National Catholic committee on Scouting with the prestigeous 'Gold Award' in 2002.
Weekly meetings are held at 7:00 PM on each Monday in the gym of the Cathedral School at 14th and Ferry Streets in La Crosse. New boys are always welcome.
